We'll be heading to the hospital soon this morning -- just waiting for the shift change to finish. Aaron had a bit of a rough time yesterday with pain and keeping his blood pressure down. During surgery he also had a "small bleed" which required some extra care in the way of additional CT scans and frequent neurologic tests/questions. Everything seems fine though. He ate 2 small containers of vanilla ice cream last night and of course, is feeling pretty cranky. Assuming all goes well this morning, he'll be transferred to the monitoring unit today.
Thanks to everyone for phone calls and emails -- you'll never know how much we appreciate that!

We are so grateful that you had family with you yesterday during that intense time.
Just know that you have much more family praying with you and for you. We wish we could be there with you, but we are holding your arms up from a distance and we know many others are also.
